So much the same, yet so very different. This describes Steve and Jan, as well as their art.
Attracted to each other’s creativity, passion, introspection and authenticity, they met late in life. Now, they’re enjoying catching up, painting together, writing together, traveling together, though they do a few things separately, too. Steve likes to play video games–Jan does not. Jan is a news junkie–Steve is not.
In many ways, their art styles are paradoxes of who they are.
